FAC AGM & Social to feature “A Year In Review” with Donae’O, Levina, Olive Jones and SOFY

The FAC is delighted to announce that our 2026 Annual General Meeting and Social will see us return to London’s Cambridge Audio HQ on Wednesday 21st October.

Running from 6pm to 9pm, the event will offer an opportunity to reflect on the FAC’s work, meet board directors, staff and supporters, and also to hear about the organisation’s priorities for the future, and connect with a community working to champion artists’ rights and interests across the music industry.

Over the past 12 months, the FAC has been at the epicentre of industry discussions around a wide range of issues, including grassroots and European touring, AI licensing and streaming reform. With support from the LIVE Trust, the FAC has also launched the groundbreaking UK Artist Touring (UKAT) fund and has already provided essential “top up” financing for 26 artists to play 211 live shows.

FAC Chair, David Rowntree (Blur) and FAC CEO, David Martin, will reflect on these developments, while the evening will also feature “A Year in Review” discussion, led by NME News Editor Andrew Trendell and bringing together artists Donae’O, Levina, Olive Jones and SOFY.

Donae’O was among the first wave of UKAT awardees and continues to build his reputation across UK dancefloors as a producer, songwriter, rapper and vocalist. This year he was nominated for an Independent Music Award, and was among the nominees for MOBO’s Song Of The Year.

Olive and SOFY have received backing from the FAC’s Step Up Fund, which has now been supported by Amazon Music since 2022. Both artists have enjoyed breakout years, releasing their debut albums - Olive with For Mary and SOFY with How To Perform Magic - and touring extensively.

Meanwhile, as Chair of the FAC’s Artist Council, Levina was a driving force behind the recent publication of the new artist Kitemark and guide for music distributors. She also released a new album in 2026, Invincible Summer.

David Martin, CEO, Featured Artists Coalition said:

“It’s been an incredibly busy year for the FAC. While the entire industry grapples with existential issues like AI licensing or the economic challenges with live touring, it’s never been more important for artists to have a seat at the table. These are truly difficult times, and the FAC really strives to represent the full diversity of the artist community in everything we do.

“The AGM will give us an opportunity to reflect on this work, and to highlight some of the progress being made, and particularly in the range of funding and creative opportunities we now offer - whether that’s the continued evolution of our partnership with Amazon Music on Step Up, our role in supporting AMEX Unsigned, our work with the University of Hertfordshire on the Propeller Sessions, new partnerships with Orange Amplifiers and Signature Brew, or the ongoing roll out of the UKAT fund.

“I’m really delighted we’ll have the first-hand insights of Donea’O, Levina, Olive and SOFY to help convey the impact of this work, and also to provoke a discussion about what it means to be an artist in 2026.”

The AGM will also see confirmation of the FAC board directors, including our most recent board director, Orla Gartland.

The AGM and Social is free to attend, but requires attendees to RSVP via Eventbrite here. Refreshments will be provided by Signature Brew.

Guests with access requirements are advised to email helena@thefac.org in advance.
