By plugging genuine shortfalls and de-risking touring, the FAC’s UK Artist Touring (UKAT) fund, developed in partnership with the Music Managers Forum and the Musicians’ Union and backed by the LIVE Trust, aims to protect the UK’s cultural infrastructure, deliver renewed vitality in the grassroots, strengthen the pipeline of future talent, and ensure that genre, regional and cultural diversity can flourish while also supporting the development of new and existing audiences, so music can thrive sustainably across the UK.

UKAT is open to artists from all backgrounds, all parts of the UK, all genres and all career stages. UKAT seeks to ensure artists can present their artistic work and vision in the manner in which audiences are intended to experience it.

Inclusion Statement

The FAC is committed to a fully diverse and inclusive live music ecosystem. The UKAT fund is designed to be accessible to artists across the UK, including those from under‑represented communities, lesser‑served regions and all genres of original music.

Considerations of inclusion, representation and access will be part of the assessment process alongside eligibility, artistic context and financial need. Learning from who applies and who is supported will shape the development of future phases.

The fund offers additional financial support through a dedicated Access Fund. This is designed to remove barriers that may prevent artists and teams from undertaking touring. It is only available to applicants of UKAT and is not a separate fund. Further details about the Access Fund are included in the Application Guidance
