Born in Edinburgh to Chinese parents, 22-year-old singer and producer Rachel Lu released her debut EP ‘LVCID’ in 2020 under the moniker LVRA (pronounced loo-rah).
The release of TWO, as well as follow-up single IN YOUR BLOOD saw LVRA cement herself as one of the most exciting artists in the UK. Aside from earning plaudits from from the likes of Radio 1 and Radio 1 Dance, DJ Mag, PAPER, DIY and The Line of Best Fit, LVRA also won The Sound of Young Scotland Award at the Scottish Album of the Year ceremony, and recently starred in a short documentary aired on BBC Scotland entitled LVRA: using music to navigate my identity.
