LIFE’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Popular Music’ was self-released by the band in 2017. It is an album that demands attention, creating a manifesto for the disillusioned, the widely ignored and those who might think they’ve no means of having a creative outlet. In the last 12 months the band have appeared at numerous festivals across the UK and Europe, headlined for the BBC at SXSW, toured with Slaves, Idles and Nadine Shah, gained playlist adds on BBC 6 Music and had relentless backing from Radio 1, including a live session at Maida Vale, billing at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and named in Radio 1’s 2017 best album list alongside Stormzy, The XX and Jay Z. A very special Spotlight Show to celebrate 15 years of Transgressive, headlined by Foals at Brighton’s seminal Concorde 2 venue. Set to be the biggest ever show the festival has seen, the bill also features incredible Transgressive artists Blaenavon and Boniface. It’s been 12 years since Foals took the roof off Horatio’s at The Great Escape 2007, having them return to TGE 2019 to play this very special Spotlight Show is such an honour for the festival and we cannot wait for it to happen. Access to this Spotlight Show is via standalone tickets only which go on sale 9am Wednesday 3rd April. Tickets are limited to 2 per customer. Fresh from the release of their number two-charting album, ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 1’, Foals have received international critical acclaim and landed their fastest streaming track to date with the anthemic, ‘Exits’. This show is gonna go down in TGE history – make sure you’re there! More
