The FAC Step Up Fund powered by Amazon Music is BACK

We are delighted to launch the FAC Step Up Fund, powered by Amazon Music, for a second year.

The Step Up Fund provides financial support and a broader package of benefits for projects of up to ten upcoming artists. Step Up aims to boost the development of talented artists, acknowledging the financial and structural challenges they face at this particular stage of their careers. Making an impact as an artist in a crowded field is always a challenge, however, the unprecedented impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing cost of living crisis has worsened an already challenging landscape.

Artists can apply for the Step Up Fund for support on any projects related to their artist career, including recording, releasing, content creation marketing and tour support.

Last year the Step Up Fund was awarded to nine hugely talented recipients: Daniel Casimir, Friedberg, LVRA, Joel Culpepper, Elkka, nineteen97, Cherise, Deyah and VUKOVI. Since receiving the fund all have gone on to produce some amazing work including albums, music videos and more. See some examples below and find out more here.

Deyah - ‘Suffa’ Music Video

“STEP UP has really helped accelerate our growth this last year.”

LVRA - ‘Soft Like Steel’ Album and Full Length Film

“Step-Up has allowed me to create an immersive, ambitious visual project to accompany my forthcoming release. It has quite literally elevated the whole project, creating a talking point for press and eye-grabbing content to use across the campaign.”
