Today, we are sharing the latest update from our partners, Spotify's “Loud & Clear” - an initiative to provide more transparency and data around music industry economics and artist payments. Spotify believes artists deserve more clarity around how the global streaming economy works - this site helps provide that information to those building careers on Spotify.

The site has a number of updated components from last year’s, including:
Refreshed data: annual data across the site has been updated with full-year 2021 royalties
Top 10 takeaways: making it easy for visitors to pull headline info from our 2021 data.
Revenue Generation Over the Years: new artist milestones include $2million and $5million.
A Look at the Publishing Industry: in the Industry Context section at the bottom of the site, we’re adding a compendium of new educational resources for songwriters and producers. It includes some new industry level data commissioned from economist Will Page and eight new blog posts from Noteable, where we collected tips for beginning songwriters from leading collection societies around the world.
