FAC announce new partnership with Hawkr

Band merch is such an integral part of going to a gig. It’s how the memory lives on! It’s also, more and more a vital part of every artists livelihood. As such, we’ve teamed up with Hawkr, a merch stand in your pocket! Hawkr is a platform that enables artists to quickly and easily create digital merch stands. Fans then access these merch stands through the Hawkr fan app and buy the merch, which Hawkr fulfils on behalf of the artists. It massively simplifies the complex process of buying and selling merchandise at live gigs.

They use print-on-demand technology which means as soon as a fan makes a purchase, the order is individually printed and shipped direct to the fan’s front door. This means, never sell-out of stock or miss sales again! Crucially, it also means no leftover stock so there is no waste making Hawkr is a much more eco-friendly solution. Digital printing uses 90% less water and 60% less energy than traditional printing as well as non-toxic vegan ink. Hawkr is committed to providing planet friendly merch solutions and donate 1% of revenues companywide to EarthPercent, Brian Eno’s music climate charity.

With Hawkr, Artists can now create unlimited designs, and colourways. They can even create merch designs specifically for each and every gig making it special for fans. On Hawkr, artists can geolocate a merch stand to a particular venue, so only fans in the venue can access their range. Or put them on timers to create super limited items creating excitement and sense of urgency, and push impulse buys. It’s up to you as artists to choose, Hawkr just provides the tools.

And all this can be done with NO RISK. You no longer have to forecast or pay up-front for your merch. Shipping, taxes (particularly with Brexit) and carrying boxes in and out of the show each night, as well as unfair venue commissions, can be a thing of the past…
