Artist & Manager Awards 2016 highlights

Thursday, 24, November, 2016, The Artist and Manager Awards 2016 were buzzing with excitement and positivity, filling London's Troxy with a new-found sense of community and togetherness many felt and commented on. We are hugely grateful to Fiona and Webbo at the MMF for doing the lion's share of organising the event and bringing it to life for all to enjoy!

Vector Management's Peter Rudge was honoured with the renowned Peter Grant Award for his work with The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Duran Duran, to name a few. Rudge opened on the line 'This speech was 50 years in the making', and then followed with an impressive 27 minute reflection!

The Breakthrough Artist Award went to Years & Years (pictured with Imogen Heap and Diane Wagg), Stormzy's manager Tobe Onwuka was honoured with the Breakthrough Manager Award; Joan Armatrading received our Artist to Artist Award, honouring her incredible life-long career and the resonance of her work with fellow artists.

Artist of the Year went to The 1975, Manager of the Year to XX's Jonathan Dickins (Adele).

This years Industry Champion Award was given to David Enthoven, who very sadly passed earlier this year. David had been a pioneer in the industry as well as one of the FAC's first patrons and supporters. He is sorely missed.
