Amazon Music for Artists launches ‘Hype Deck’

Amazon Music’s has launched new feature ‘Hype Deck’ which allows artists and their teams to easily generate promotional assets featuring an artist’s music that can be shared to their fan community across social media, messaging apps, and other marketing channels.

Available on both mobile and web, Hype Deck will generate Hype Cards that can be used to promote an Artist Profile, Songs, Albums, and select global Amazon Music playlists (with more to come) including Rap Rotation, Country Heat, Breakthrough, and All Hits. The Hype Cards can be customised with different gradient background colors, orientations and will be available to share to fans in seven languages - English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.

When fans click on Hype Cards from social or other marketing channels, they will be taken to the Amazon Music app. For Artist Profile assets, fans will be taken to the artist detail page in the app. For Song and Album assets, fans will be taken to the respective Album and Song pages.

Where do I create a Hype Card? Hype Cards can only be created in Amazon Music for Artists. Simply, login to your Amazon Music for Artists account > select the artist profile of the artist you would like to create a new Hype Card for > and navigate to the Hype Deck page. On web this will be a tab in the left hand side navigation, on mobile you can create a new Hype Card in Profile & Tools.

Who can create a Hype Card? Anyone on an Artist, Label, or Distributor team with access to an artist's profile in Amazon Music for Artists can create Hype Cards.
