Following the success of our first ALL ABOUT events for musicians in March, tonight we proudly presented you

ALL ABOUT: Producers & Production - Capturing the Magic

This time, our incredible panel consisted of Mercury Prize, MPG & Brit Award winning record producer Charlie Andrew, three time Grammy winning engineer Robbie Nelson, multi-instrumentalist, writer, producer and MPG Executive Board Director Andrew Hunt, and BEAT Board member and one of the youngest professional producers in the UK Lauren Deakin-Davies.

Some of the subjects covered on the panel:

- the relationship between artists and producers and how you know you've got a good one 

- the different roles a producer can take on 

- the best ways to pitch a song to a producer 

- the recording process from an idea to mixing and mastering the finished product
