What is an Open Artist Session?

Open Artist Sessions are monthly, intimate and informal Q&A's for FAC PRO members and with experienced artist or industry figure. They aim to provide education, advice and help nurtue our artist community.
They are free and exclusively for our PRO members. Spaces are limited, so we recommend signing up quickly to secure a spot.

Sarah Howells (BRYDE)

Pembrokeshire-born, London-based Bryde aka Sarah Howells, is a woman and an electric guitar playing fierce and fragile songs.

Bryde has gained radio support from the likes of Huw Stephens on Radio 1, 6music, playlist on BBC Radio Wales and Radio X. She's toured expensively, both headlining across the UK and mainland Europe, as well as opening for Rufus Wainwright. She has performed at Dot To Dot, Green Man and Swn, played debut shows in New York and Los Angeles and sold out UK headline tours.

Sarah also runs her own record label, Seahorse, which champions female identifying artists. She's got a wealth of experience in creating and building her own career, which has included top-line writing and live performances for charting house music, landing syncs, etc. She is a prime example of an artist entrepreneur and we can't wait to hear / learn more from her.
