Next week the pioneering music education and talent development charity, The Midi Music Company (MMC) hosts Music Explosion, an exciting evening of online music industry discussions.
Speakers will focus on offering insights and inspirational real-world advice for emerging talent aged 16 and over, and those at the start of their career in the business.
Speakers include Charlie Deakin Davies (songwriter, producer and artist), Roxanne de Bastion (FAC Board Director and Community Lead) and Benny Bizzie (singer-songwriter, FAC and Attitude is Everything ambassador amplifying the voice of deaf and disabled artists).
Founder & Executive Director of The Midi Music Company, Wozzy Brewster OBE FRSA says: “We are delighted to be working with the Featured Artist Coalition to provide industry insights from the perspective of experienced artists/producers, who can bring a greater understanding to emerging young creatives who are interested in overcoming the challenges faced by the pandemic, lack of live performance opportunities and those who are focused on enhancing their music careers. As a FAC Pro member myself, I have found their resources and music business information extremely beneficial. Music Explosion provides an accessible, free online opportunity to learn from established professionals.”
Of the collaboration, David Martin, Chief Executive of the FAC says, “The FAC is delighted to be collaborating on this session of Music Explosion. The Midi Music Company is a force for good, providing young people with opportunities in music, which might otherwise be inaccessible to them. That’s why we’re proud to be able to support this session, and we’re grateful to the three brilliant artists from the FAC family who will be sharing their insight, experiences and knowledge.”
