The FAC has teamed up with English Folk Expo and CMU:DIY to bring you a special folk, roots and acoustic music edition of our Artist:Entrepreneur Day.
From music copyright, to building your fanbase during a pandemic, to choosing the right business partners, the artist-led A:E Day features presentations, case studies and interviews offering important information and practical advice to help early-stage artists build a long-term career and sustainable business around their music. Hear from experts at PRS, PPL, Songtrust, Strada Music, Proper Music, SGO Music, Karakter and Harbottle & Lewis, plus three FAC artist entrepreneurs: Luke Jackson, Mark Lewis and Lauren Housley.
Recorded earlier this month, this special edition of the Artist:Entrepreneur Day forms part of English Folk Expo's Artist Mentoring Programme and is also available to any other artists or music industry people who would like to attend. This special pre-recorded edition is available on English Folk Expo’s Facebook and YouTube pages for one month only, so make sure to check it out while you can!
We hope you find this information useful and advantageous for your future careers.
